I paint things I dream about and I paint in layers…often working on 15 or 20 works at once, for years.

I never intend to finish a work, but often others do this for me, by telling me to stop.

I have been keeping a journal of my dreams for 30 years now, and this is the source of my ideas.

Often I feel that the images and ideas I dream about are more real than those in waking life.
